主讲人简介：

Leo Cheng was born in Shanghai, China. He earned his Master of Science from Nanjing University in 1985. He went to the USA in 1986 and earned his PhD in 1993 from Brandeis University with Professor Judith Herzfeld, and Professor Robert G. Griffin at MIT. He has been in Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School since 1994. Since 2003, he has served as on numerous USA and international committees for scientific grant reviews including multiple chartered memberships on the NIH study sections in the USA. He has been on the Editorial Advisory Board for NMR in Biomedicine, and other journals, since 2005. He is currently an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he discovered intact tissue HRMAS MRS and developed MRS-based metabolomics.

郑泠（Leo Cheng）出生于上海，1985年获得南京大学化学系硕士学位，1993年获得美国布兰迪斯大学博士学位，导师为该校朱迪斯·赫兹菲尔德教授和麻省理工学院罗伯特·G·格里弗雷教授。他自1994年起在麻省总医院和哈佛医学院任职，自2003年起在美国以及国际上多个委员会包括美国国立卫生研究院的研究部门担任特许成员。自2005年起他任NMR in Biomedicine等多家期刊的编委。他目前就职哈佛医学院和麻省总医院放射科，期间通过高分辨魔角旋转核磁共振技术检测了完整组织，并为基于核磁共振的细胞代谢的发展做出了重要贡献。
